The Manila nightlife sizzled as sultry Ginebra San Miguel calendar girl Ellen Adarna headlined an all-star show to celebrate the start of summer last Saturday, March 14. It was a fun-filled night with gigs and games galore, as Ginebra San Miguel launched its annual Ginumanfest at the Liwasang Bonifacio grounds.
The crowd of barangay Ginebra San Miguel fans was greeted by celebrities such as Jhong Hilario and Vhong Navarro, among others. Lahing Ginebra music lovers were also treated to top hits by hard-rocking bands Itchyworms, Rocksteddy and Save Me Hollywood, along with masterful mixes of EDM beats by DJ Carlo Atendido. The event was hosted by Papa Jack and Gee Canlas, who gave out prizes and surprises for lucky partygoers.
Drinks flowed all night long, and those who were “ganado sa buhay” were able to enjoy Ginebra San Miguel, Inc. (GSMI) products such as Ginebra San Miguel, GSM Blue, GSM Blue Flavors, Ginebra San Miguel Premium Gin, Antonov Vodka and its newest product Primera Light Brandy at the venue.
Last year’s Ginumanfest, which coincided with the celebration of Ginebra San Miguel’s 180th anniversary, attracted a total of more than 220,000 attendees from 13 different legs all over the country. Ginumanfest is GSMI’s way of thanking its millions of kabarangay for making flagship product, Ginebra San Miguel, the no. 1 selling gin in the world.
“Ginumanfest is really about making our consumers, our kalahing Ginebra happy. And every year, we all gather for our common love and spirit for the brand,” said Nelson Elises, VP and marketing manager of Ginebra San Miguel Inc. (GSMI).
Ginebra will keep the party going all-year-round as the Ginumanfest will also take a trip to the following venues: Siniloan, Laguna; Legazpi, Albay (April); Kalibo, Aklan (April 17); Bayambang, Pangasinan (April 17); Agoo, La Union (April 25); Gapan, Nueva Ecija (April 28-May 1); Pulilan, Bulacan (May); Santiago, Isabela (May 2); Lucena, Quezon (May 29); Silang, Cavite (June 19); San Juan, Metro Manila (June 20); Tacloban, Leyte (June 28); San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan (Sept. 9); Naga, Camarines Sur (Sept. 17); Alicia, Isabela (October); and Narvacan, Ilocos Sur (Dec. 11).
