CALLALILY, GIN KINGS HEADLINE GINUMAN FEST CALAMBA LEG

Callalily and the Barangay Ginebra Gin Kings will lead the cast in the second leg of Ginebra San Miguel Inc.’s (GSMI) Ginuman Fest 2014 at The Plaza in Barangay Real in Calamba, Laguna on Feb. 28 (Friday).

Kabarangays can look forward anew to a sizzling evening of hot music as Callalily dishes out its greatest hits from an impressive catalogue of full-length studio albums as well as its own renditions of today’s hottest chart-toppers and alternative classics. Joining Callalily are Banda Ni Kleggy and sultry all-girl group PYT Sassy Girls.

Sharing the limelight are Barangay Ginebra San Miguel players Japeth Aguilar, Dylan Ababou, JayR Reyes and Brian Faundo.

In the opening leg held in Tondo recently, some 15,000 people partied all night at the Tutuban Center parking grounds with GSMI’s brand ambassadors 2014 Ginebra calendar girl Marian Rivera, Solenn Heussaff, Jhong Hilario, Callalily, Rocksteddy, and The Itchyworms.

Ginuman Fest 2014 is not just a musical event as it also showcases games that offer exciting prizes. During the event, concertgoers will be able to sample and purchase GSMI products like GSM Blue, GSM Blue Flavors, Ginebra San Miguel Premium Gin, Gran Matador Brandy, Antonov Vodka, Magnolia Healthy Beverages and flagship product Ginebra San Miguel, which celebrates its 180th anniversary.

Ginuman Fest 2014 is GSMI’s way of thanking its millions of kalahi for making flagship brand Ginebra San Miguel the world’s largest-selling gin. The said event is expected to reach and even surpass the total number of concertgoers pegged at a million last year.

As an added spectacle, the brand launched the Ginuman Fest Crew led by irreverent radio DJ Jec Lubrin who plays the role of Boy Hamon. Boy Hamon and the Ginuman Fest Crew will travel to all the Ginuman destinations and will document each leg to show not only the main event but also behind-the-scenes footages along with a mini-city tour of each destination. The adventures of Boy Hamon and his Ginuman Fest Crew can be viewed on the brand’s official Facebook pages: Barangay Ginebra and GSM Blue Gin.

Ginuman Fest 2014 will also visit Imus, Cavite (March 8), San Fernando, La Union (March 15), Calapan, Mindoro (March 21), Batangas City (March 29), Tagudin, Ilocos Sur (April 4), Bayambang, Pangasinan (April 5), San Jose, Nueva Ecija (April 11), Cauayan, Isabela (April 12), Baliuag, Bulacan (May 9), Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya (May 17), Tuguegarao, Cagayan Valley (June 14), Daet, Camarines Norte (June 19), and San Juan, Metro Manila (June 21).

Ginuman Fest 2014 is part of the on-going celebration of Ginebra San Miguel’s 180th anniversary.

Last year, Ginebra San Miguel bagged its sixth Gold Quality Medal and second International High Quality Trophy from Monde World Selection. It was also ranked no. 1 selling gin in the world by trusted and respected global drinks journal Drinks International.
